The Ultimate Fighter finalist came out of the chute attacking, putting Leblanc on the back foot immediately, stinging him with hard shots that prompted Leblanc to look to tie up and go to the ground. Valentin welcomed the opportunity and immediately climbed into mount, eventually forcing Leblanc to give up his back. From there, Valentin attacked the choke, eventually slipping the arm under the neck to secure the finish.

This was an emotional win for Valentin, who opened his career with consecutive losses, while also dealing with the passing of his mother during his last training camp. The all-action Swiss fighter showed his experience and all-around savvy with this one and remains a must-see member of the middleweight division.

The two men traded big blows throughout the contest, each man having their moments, but Saricam getting the better of the heavy exchanges. Whenever one fighter would build some momentum, the other would respond, until the late stages of the second round, where Saricam connected on a clear right hand down the pipe that put Boser on the mat created the path for a finish.

Beating a 10-fight UFC veteran in your debut is a noteworthy achievement and doing it with style points makes it stand out even more. The winds of change have been blowing through the heavyweight division of late and Saricam looks like he could be added to that mix going forward.

Zhelezniakova has success early, opening up Croden as the two spent the majority of the round trading on the feet. Croden clawed back into things in the second and took over in the third, bringing the fight to her Russian foe and unloading down the stretch to cement the victory.

All three judges saw the fight the same way, awarding Croden the victory with scores of 29-28 across the board. While the decision marked the end of her 100-percent finishing rate, this was still a wildly entertaining scrap that advanced the Calgary resident to 2-1 in the UFC and still unbeaten on Canadian soil.

The Texan dropped the debuting Canadian early in the contest, and Siraj never fully recovered, as Yannis stayed forward with his pressure, stinging Siraj multiple times. After stuffing a panicked takedown attempt, Yannis unloaded heavy shots from top position, forcing the stoppage.

Just an outstanding showing by Yannis to collect his first UFC victory. Winning at this level is never easy and putting forth a performance like that in enemy territory makes it all the more impressive.
